Derek Sanderson played Center for the Boston Bruins. He also played for the Philadelphia Blazers, NY Rangers, St. Louis Blues, Vancouver Canucks and Pittsburgh Penguins in his career that spanned from 1965-1978. His nickname was "Tuck" and he grew up and played junior hockey in his hometown of Niagra Falls, Ontario. With the Bruins he won the Calder Memorial Trophy for Rookie of the Year for the 1967-68 season, winning it the year after Bobby Orr. He helped the Bruins win the Cup in the 1971-72 season against the NY Rangers.
